本次展覽是韓國海外文化弘報院的韓國文化節項目海外巡展，由駐香港韓國文化院和韓國國立韓古爾博物館共同主管。

韓古爾實驗項目從設計觀點重新詮釋韓古爾，審視韓國固有文字韓古爾的價值及其藝術性與文化內容。1443年，韓古爾由朝鮮第四代國王世宗（1397-1450）創製，在570多年間形成了韓國文化的基礎，並隨着韓國人的生活發生了各種變化。

韓國國立韓古爾博物館從2016年開始策劃，並進行了四次韓古爾實驗項目。第一至三次韓古爾實驗項目以15世紀韓古爾的原型、表音文字韓古爾的特點、韓古爾的形態為主題；是次駐香港韓國文化院推出的展覽則重新規劃了第四次韓古爾實驗項目「近代韓古爾研究所」，讓觀衆能夠更輕鬆、直接地了解韓古爾的文字價值。

展覽作品由活躍於設計、藝術界的當代設計師和藝術家以韓國國立韓古爾博物館珍藏品為靈感創作而成。展品融入了近代各種韓古爾拼寫觀點、西方人視角下韓古爾的新面貌、近代出版物中出現的韓古爾組合和排列的形態，以及韓古爾字體的優美。希望通過是次展覽，能夠多方面體驗韓古爾，感受韓古爾的無限可能。

The exhibition, jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and the National Hangeul Museum in Seoul will be held from 23 November 2023 until 27 January 2024. The artworks featured in the exhibition were created by contemporary designers and artists, inspired by the items in the National Hangeul Museum’s collection. They embody the orthographic ideas regarding Hangeul in the modern era, Western perspectives on the Korean alphabet, its stylistic beauty from various combinations and arrangements in modern-day publications, and its calligraphic aesthetics.
